I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were good and clean for basic self-catering, but being situated at the rear made it noisy and shaded most of the day. The service was excellent, especially with friendly and helpful staff like Duarte at reception. However, there were instances of staff rowing and being abusive, which was off-putting. The location was convenient for walking to bars and accessing transport options, but the dining experience fell short at times, being basic with room for improvement.
The hotel rooms were a mix of old yet incredibly clean and worth the cost, although they could use air conditioning in the summer. The rooms were spacious with a nice balcony to enjoy.
